Party Time

Landon was at a party recently that was dubbed "The greatest two year old twin party I have ever been to". Here is a picture of Landon with the party girls Sophie (left) and Ava (right) with their mom Anne.

There was also a water table that was a huge success with Landon and several other party goers.

The party week-end was pretty exciting because he also got to go to the newly renovated kid area at the St. Louis Botanical Gardens. Which I do recommend for any one in the St. Louis area, because Landon loved it.

Here is a photo of Landon continuing his career as a construction working after being promoted to a site inspector. He is verifying his Dad's work meet standards.

Here is the sunset from that evening ... I liked it so I am including it.

Landon just got a gift from our contractor, an electric ATV. So there will probably be some video and photos of that next time.

Have a nice day.

Helper Boy

Hello,

Landon is turning into quite the little helper. He loves to participate in anything that we are doing. I'm sure eventually he is going to wise up ... but for now he has no idea that digging ditches is not fun and I have the pictures and video to prove it.

Ditch Digging

He also does not know that helping in the kitchen should not be seen as a reward.

Kitchen Help

I am going to take full advantage of these things while I can. Now if only I can find a 2 ft. tall child certified post hole digger I'll be in business.

I still have more stuff to post that doesn't actually contain me trying to push the limits of any child labor laws.

Signed,
Dad

Farm Visit

Hello,

The local PAT, Parents as Teachers (good group), puts on events occasionally and a couple months back they had a farm visit day. So we took Landon and he got to pet some animals that he usually only gets to see in his books. He loved the chickens.

It might be the farm rubbing off on him but he decided one day that his favorite thing in the world was a straw hat he found. No one was allowed to touch the hat and the hat had to be on his head at all times ... most the time sideways.

More to come ...

Finally ...

OK,

I am finally adding another post. We have participated in some social events recently and I have a batch of new media. So, the good news is that I am going to be able to produce a small batch of posts here shortly. The bad news is that I have not edited any videos of those events so you don't get any of that stuff. For this post I just decided to grab some of my favorite pictures from the last few months.

Here is a picture of the boy when he found his grandma Eller's glasses. We were able to return them in one piece, of course that piece was so bend out of shape that they broke when she tried to bend them back.

In this picture Landon has driven himself into the closet. He was determined to figure out how to get out of this by himself but eventually asked for help.

Here is a nice day that Landon got to educate his Grandpa and Grandma Callaway about the coolness of rocks.

Vicki got Landon an art table and here he is creating another masterpiece of modern art.

Thats all for the random pictures. Hopefully over the next few weeks I'll be able to put together some themed posts of the stuff we have done recently.

Enjoy.
