Catch Up

I am catching up before Christmas so that I will get the Christmas photos out in a timely bases (around March).

Vicki's parents are going to be Germany visiting her sister, so we had Christmas at her parents house over Thanksgiving. Landon got to play with the next generation of Thompson/Eller extended family coop - her name is Kate:

I am proud to say that I take my parental responsibilities seriously. Part of this burden is to educate the next generation of Callaways on how to to do things the right way. This past week, I took time out of my busy schedule to make sure he understood how to watch Sunday football. This is a lesson that he can carry with him the rest of his life. May it serve him well:

We took time to go fishing ... and he caught a bunch of fish. I have one here to show you, although the fish looks a lot like a leaf stuck to the end of his stick, it one of those shape shifting fish ...

Have a great Christmas!

Disney World

Hello,

Enough time has passed that I can post this with out going on endlessly about how much I disliked our Disney World vacation. So you can get what you came for, pictures of Landon. Here is the short version: I am sure there are some kids 5 and under that will like Disney World but for the most part Landon could have cared less and the stuff he did like we could have done in St. Louis for free.

On to the pictures:

A brief moment of fun:

His Grandma and Great Grandma came down to Florida and that was nice, except he only had one good day and was sick the rest of the time. Oh yeah, did I forget to mention the multi-national world wide import of germs?

A good portion of the days were spent like this:

That about all the decent picture I have of the trip. Vicki has a different take on the trip, but she doesn't update the blog ... .so your stuck with my opinion. Did I mention Landon also passed on his horrible bug to me? The great All-American Disney World vacation .... count me out!

Thats all for today, I have some pictures of happier trips but I did not want to taint the vibe I have going on in this posting.

Till next time ...
